A newly published report by the Unplanned Admissions Consensus Committee has found that 70% of continence services across the UK had their services negatively impacted by COVID19 with 85% of continence staff redeployed for some or all of the pandemic.

This report recalls clinician stories of patients who have arrived in A and E with septic infections and continence skin ulcers cutting to the bone, because they have been too embarrassed or scared to ask for the care they desperately need.
